Sunday Supper with the Women Winemakers & Culinarians
Sunday, January 19th, 2025 • 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Los Olivos, CA
What happens when two chefs and three winemakers join a Board to create a Foundation to give back to the local community? First, they fundraise for their own non-profit to kickstart the Women Winemakers & Culinarians Foundation. Sunday Suppers evoke gathering around a table for comfort food, good conversation, and delicious wine and you’re invited! Chef Brooke Stockwell of Los Olivos Café, and cookbook author and culinary tastemaker Anna Vocino will be creating a three-course gluten-free, vegetarian-based meal complemented by wines from Sunshine Doench-Stricker’s Future Perfect, Brit Zotovich’s Dreamcoteand Karen Steinwachs’ Seagrape wineries. Expect deliciousness, hilarity, and joy throughout the evening in Karen’s restored barn. Limited to 50 guests, all net proceeds will help the Women Winemakers & Culinarians Foundation get set for the annual Celebration during International Women’s Day weekend, March 6-9.
Lane Tanner Tribute Dinner & Stories

Zaca Creek Tavern
She’s talented, brave, funny, opinionated, colorful, sassy, and one of the very first women winemakers in Santa Barbara County. As Lane Tanner moves from wine production into consulting roles, we honor her with our first Tribute Dinner. Join Lane and friends at Zaca Creek Tavern on Thursday, March 6th for an evening of wine, food, companionship, and many stories, we’re sure!
Dress: Casual, bright colors. Tie Dye encouraged!
Schedule:
- 5:30 Appetizers and mingling
- 6:30 Sit-down buffet meal
- 7:30 Stories!
Bring a bottle of wine to share, and particularly if there is a Lane connection. Cocktails and other adult beverages will be available for purchase.
Grand Tasting

27 Vines
The casitas and barn and lawns of 27 Vines will be filled with dozens of women winemakers and their lady culinary colleagues, fronted by the just awakening vines of this boutique vineyard. You’ll taste with the winemakers, chefs, and specialty food purveyors themselves as they talk to you about their passion for crafting deliciousness from the bounty of Santa Barbara County.
We believe everyone should have access to enjoy the event to the fullest! If you use a wheelchair or face mobility challenges, NatureTrack will be at the event to offer Freedom Trax at no cost, converting your manual wheelchair into an all-terrain device. If you don’t have a manual wheelchair, NatureTrack can provide both the wheelchair and the Freedom Trax. Contact us to make arrangements and experience the event without limitations.
Bubbly Bash

A fitting and delicious finale to a long weekend of vinous celebration, Bubbly Brunch is a testament to the women winemakers and chefs love of food with wine, and wine with food!. The festivities kick off with a sparkling wine tasting, where the effervescence of carefully crafted bubbles takes center stage. The morning transitions into a scrumptious brunch, created by Vega’s own Chef Louise Smith, with a selection of “breakfast wines”, poured for you by the women winemakers. It’s a weekend where each pour tells a story, and every bite is a testament to the artistry of our own women winemakers and culinarians.
